about me

I am Huy, a trained mathematician with a degree from TU Berlin, who loves to dabble in photography from time to time.

Some of my nerdier hobbies include tinkering with microcontrollers and single-board computers to do projects such as home automation or building a digital chess board. I also enjoy setting up and maintaining all kinds of servers, such as the one running this very website.

You might have rightfully guessed that chess is another passion of mine. A fun weekend for me usually involves playing in a chess tournament somewhere in the region, which I commute to on my single speed bike.

When it comes to reading, I am always keen to discover new books across all literary genres. Lately, Japanese classics have really caught my attention.
